There will be chalk in the Da Vince Gym during the lunchtime session for this wod. The chalk will help keep your hands dry so the pullup bar and kettlebell handle don’t become slippery.
Gymnastics chalk, as well as most various hand chalk, is made from magnesium carbonate. Here’s some trivia on MgCO3 from wiki.answers.com:

HA! So definitely wash all the chalk off your hands before you handle food!! That probably explains why TUMS taste chalky… it’s made of pressed calcium carbonate. Is anyone else thinking about Han Solo right now? …but that was carbonITE
